My wardrobe. Many people assume that it is huge – a vast, sprawling place, but that’s really not the case. What you see in the photo above, is about it. It mainly consists of a clothing rack bought at IKEA (where I usually hang my newest purchases and favorite items) and a couple of drawers in which I keep all the rest: jeans, jumpers, basics etc.

It wasn’t until about a year ago that I realized that it’s more me to only own items I actually wear, and stick to it. It resulted in a drastic closet detox, but it was totally worth it. I got rid of all the “junk”, and now I own a modest collection, of which I absolutely love every single piece. It’s organized and clean, just the way I like it. A few things that you’ll find there:

Stripes and knitwear, both styles I can always fall back on. I consider them both the pillars that my wardrobe leans on.

As my style appears quite simple and is often described as feminine, I like to add items that give it a bit more spice. A style that always does the trick is a sweater with a (fun) text on it, or for example a vintage band tee. Both of these go especially well with some slightly out-there specs like, my favs, Cutler and Gross sunglasses.

Although you’ve seen me walking around in sneakers a lot lately, I do love a good pair of heels. I bought these leather ones at Zara last year, on sale. I got super lucky, there was only one pair left in my size, which is usually sold out immediately.

Do let me know in the comments below if you have any other things that you would like to see from me (or my home!) I would love to post more personal stuff!
